I might be missing something really obvious, but what happened to all the pictures when the site was switched?

Well, as everyone knows, this site was taking a beating with the number of users online, and the size of the database, so I had to switch over to MySql to speed up the forum... That succeeded, but it also cost some functionality. This forum is HEAVILY modded, a lot that I have downloaded, some members have made some additions, and I have coded the rest. Well.... a number of mods didn't make the transition over, as you can tell from my front page. The photo albums were part of it unfortunately. My main goal has been to get the forum running 100%, and the main features (Private messages, admin tools, etc...)

It also turns out that this forum has a hard time with Mysql...

I have converted this forum over to phpbb2 and vbulletin, and am currently testing both of those, to see which one I plan to switch to.

So, yes, the photo album will be coming back, I just don't know when.

I concur, I am not sure what I would do with out this site to see what other people are thinking, experiencing at the same time that I am. It is very reassuring to hear that other people are going through this frustrating, time-consuming application procedure. Thanks again for the site and all of your hard work.

Glad to hear that you guys are getting something useful out of it. Plus it is "fun" for me to keep current in my degree field (per se) with the coding and maintenance...
