Fun to think of what you'll take along but what happens if you are deployed? Great to have all that stuff but no good if you can't access it. My family needs what I can provide and if I'm not there to protect them, they need to know how to use what is available. My wife is deadly with her 1911's and there is sufficient ammo to start Desert Storm all over. How about the rest of it? A place to go that will provide like minded people and mutual support? When the SHTF, the best plans turn to shit. But is better to have some kind of plan instead of floundering around wondering what to do next. there is no way to carry along all the things we'd like to have in family vehicles. Some important legal documents, perhaps family pics, food, ammo, whatever else is important. For sure we have several water purifiers that work well even with muddy water. Have used them in remote places in Afrika and they are a high priority item in our gettaway bags.
