I was a bit confused on the OAR. It says 42 is the minimum required but then says at the bottom 40-42 is waiverabe.

SNA BDCP Applicant
Hello!
I plan on applying for the BDCP program for an SNA slot. I'm a senior which my recruiter says is fine, though I have seen some posts on here from a long time ago disagreeing. I was just curious to know if I've got a good chance for this November board or if I'll have to wait to graduate in May 2027 before applying again.
Age: 23
Degree: BS Mechanical Engineering (I've also got my AS in Engineering already)
GPA: 3.16
OAR: 64
ASTB: 9/9/9
Medical Waivers: 2 past surgeries and 1 for LASIK, approved the same week I applied for them.
Drug Use: Weed 1x 5 years ago
Flight Experience: 40 hours in a C172
Extra-Curricular/Prof: I've got 2.5 years of leadership experience in technical clubs and internships/full time positions
I know my GPA is the big thing holding me back, I failed out of the engineering program as a sophomore, went to a CC to get my AS where I got a 3.94, and then back to my old university where I've averaged a 3.4 since being back. I've reviewed the spreadsheet and other discussions here before but there's just not much recently about seniors applying for BDCP. Any clue as to my chances? Thanks in advance.

On paper yes you are eligible for BDCP but if boards are not taking place for a while, it’s possible you are simply “moved” to the regular OCS board or as an I-SEL since you’ll be within months of graduating.
It’s one of those situations where you won’t know until after the board likely. Your recruiter should be keeping you posted.
In the interim check out the stats and spreadsheet that you can find on the various board threads. Some BDCP stats are on there to help compare your stats to others.
