For the West Coast MEUs, a whole lot of being the multinational exercise bitches for INDOPACOM. Yeah there's the occasional SSC/MIOs and the rare humanitarian aid. Most of the time, though, it's CHOP to 7th Fleet, combatant commander says, "Gimme all your F-35s," and then the rotary bois go do scripted air assaults and fast rope/rappel/hoist with the Filipinos, Thais, and Koreans for 5 months.
