I scoff at you for implying that H&K is better than SIG. *nose up in air*

I would love an H&K actually, but they're too damn pricey. I might look into a used one. Hopefully their new factory here in the states will drop their prices too, but we'll see about that.

It's too bad they discontinued their USC carbine. I heard it was pretty fun.

H&K makes some terrific submachine guns like the MP 5, I have a friend who has one.

It's not perfect. Browning knew this. That's why he invented the Hi-Power.

Personally, I've shot a couple 1911 variants, and I've shot a SIG P220. I like 1911s, in fact, I want that same GI 1911 that Springfield has, but when it comes to a comfortable, reliable, dead-accurate .45, I'm going with the P220.

You may ask my solution to this problem. The answer is: Buy Both.

Springfield has a 1911-A1 with a 6 inch slide to further improve accuracy. If only I had the money, as it is I am going to have to rub some pennies together to get some dimes to get the GI 1911.

I've had the personal pleasure of shooting a MP-5. It is as ungodly awesome as one would expect.

Get some good grips for the .45; it makes a world of difference in control and accuracy. You might also want to consider something smaller if you're thinking about concealed carry and not just range shooting. Personally, I'm partial to my Walther PPK/S in .380 (9mm Kurz)

Walther PPKs are nice. I'd like one of those, or a SIG P232. They're just... pretty looking.

I'd like a Walther P99 too, very nice pistols.
