This is connected to the Lear Jet crash. Although there has been almost no tropical activity in the Atlantic, the high water temperatures are definitely there. Spots in Florida so 1 to 2 feet of rain and very short periods of time, equivalent to a tropical storm parking on it. Of course the Learjet drilled right through it.
