More often than not there was an incoming alert, a few times not. First night on a new base I woke up to "Ding-ding, ding-ding, ding-ding...INCOMING, INCOMING, INCOMI"BRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTTT.......BOOM! R2D2 missed that day.

Back to weather…was anybody else’s CHU always freezing cold? Maybe we’ll never understand the mysteries of weather.
 
This is of interest to all you hurricane nerds and roobuggerers out there. Australia is being circled by a major hurricane. Open circles are where it has been, solid circles are where it’s going.

The post above was from a year ago. Here’s a screen grab of the weather today over the hill country. Another stream of moisture that is just parked right over the region.Note note in the San Antonio TAF that they are forecasting 10 to 20 additional inches of rain.
