It's a little bit past 0300 and I'm just wondering... what are the watch schedules in the other training and operational squadrons? Let's see... 5 more hours to go!

I guess it depends on the squadron. For me, I am just about to go in for my SDO duty, which is 24 hours, 0700-0700, and we stand it once every 45 days or so. Not too bad.

Well just before I relieved the watch a thunderstorm came in and knocked out the phone lines at the base. Fortunately 2 out of the 3 cross-countries had already reported safe on deck. Joker was still out there when all of this happened. I had to use my cell to contact the CDO and give him the situation. Other than that, the phones being knocked out gave me plenty of time to do absolutely nothing. And I already told you about my guest I had up there......

You know what, those egg timers they sell at Wings And Ripoff are a total sham. A digital wristwatch with glove-friendly buttons will do you much better! :)

Nahh... that's what she gets for living in Colorado Springs. But now that she's in Pensacola... things will change. Actually I hear that her boyfriend is pretty worried about her! Ah well... Of course, her father being in special forces doesn't help.

Colorado Springs chicks are weird, I grew up there and they were either hot on the USAFA cadets or the Ft Carson grunts. P-cola chicks are even weirder, take my ex-wife for example ... *shudder*
But the hotties at Cevil (I think I misspelled that.) are toasty warm compared to downtown C-Springs girls... I just forgot what my point was ...
