He means the deployment cycle - seven months deployed, seven months home. (Though only a crack addict would think that the seven months "home" are spent sleeping all day and watching Oprah.)

As for the "chugging away," I guess he means that we never stop drinking.

Oh, I know that's what he meant. I've heard "good to go" and "breaking the force" in conjunction with said optempo, and was wondering what people thought.
