Does anyone know if VP-56 is still around and how I could go about getting some gear (hat t-shirt ect) with their logo on it. My Dad was in VP-56 in the 70s and I thought it would be cool to get him a t-shirt or hat for fathers day. Any help is greatly appreciated.

They de-com'd around '91. There may be some online memorabilia resources for geedunk stuff or try ebay.

There's a P-3 w/ 56's logo on it just inside the gate at Jax, but I'm willing to bet it's not a coffee mess item for purchase. Probably a bit expensive on shipping even if they'd part w/ it anyway.
