From a recent email...I did not personally know the Admiral (although I recall the name)...but am in a "loop" of several who did.

I knew (then) LCDR Rudy Kohn when he was Maint. Off. in VA-55 our "Sister Squadron" on the '66 RANGER cruise. Great Shipmate, A-4 driver & Officer. Remember his successful punchout low level on a catapult shot during the cruise.
