Everyone - Although this is an AF site, it is a very good site. It has locations of certified scales in the US and has all bases listed. Lots of really good info for all the services including links to claims, DITY moves, and others.

FYI - Corpus Christi is listed as FISC Jacksonville DET- Corpus Christi

As far as scales go, most bases I've been to have free scales you can use. Just make sure the weighmaster knows how to spell.

I'll throw something out in the open: I just finished PCSing up to NAS Whidbey Island... and some of the most useful info I found about PCSing came from some of the how to be a military spouse type books that my wife has.
