The funny part is when he had to increase taxes, he knew he was screwing away his second term.
And so did the Democrats.

Perhaps you were thinking Federal, related to the "Read my Lips .. No new Taxes" promise. (Bush1). That cost him a second term (along with Ross Perot).

In 1990 he signed the tax increase with included a luxury tax on cars, yatchs and etc. The original threshold was for cars that cost over $30,000, increased to $40,000 in mid 90's. The tax expired January 1, 2003, without fanfare. Do not exactly remember details of the taxes on the other items.

I am not sure of a Florida luxury tax, but that statement is meaningless as I am certainly no expert.:icon_mi_1

That very well could have been it.

Aren't jet skis considered a high risk activity? Got to ORM yourself.

Do any aviation commands prohibit them for SNA/SNFOs?

Why not issue all the studs a womb-like orb at API from which they are only allowed to emerge for class and flying. That would solve all of CNATRA's ORM problems. "Alright, that concludes the debrief - back to your wombs, men!" :D

<--- Stuck in A-Pool for life. They "allow" you to do dangerous activities... you just have to fill out the right paperwork... analyze the risks etc...

They approve skydiving... I don't see why Jetskis would be any different...
