As someone who went from H-60 back to T-6 IP, it's not that hard. Throwing in some Air Force-isms might be painful, but the stick and rudder stuff from VTs will come back quickly.

Don’t underestimate what zippy said. I can honestly say that I didn’t appreciate how the Navy does checkrides till I got into the AF. It’s not necessarily more difficult, it’s just treated differently. I find the AF to be much more formal at checkride time than I ever did in the Navy. Prepare accordingly and you’ll do fine.

Glad you made it. The Legacies are interviewing 12-24 months prior to MSR now case depending so make sure you take the time to get your ducks in a row to get out asap if ya want to.
