nope.
Just so you know in 4 months you can take that shit and throw it out the window. Biggest waste of a pattern and radio time you'll never use again. But good luck it actually is a blast to fly the T-6's. Consider yourself lucky.

sure. im in 10-08 and i'll be happy to go over what i've learned thus far. im Ensign Davies, just stop by R flight in the 33rd and ill give ya some gouge and some techiniques.

Easier than that but getting vectors from the controller with the hot voice makes a sh*tty flight somewhat better. GPS flight plan 5 or 6 if you are leaving Vance to the local area. GPS flight plan 7 or 8 to come back. Load map mode on EHSI and follow the blue line. Rinse and repeat for every flight.

Was in the tower the day of Pickle's solo. God, that seems like years ago. It was... Nov 2007, I think. I just found out I was pregnant with the diva (she's going to be a year on June 25th).
Anyway, climbed about a million stairs. The people up there were really nice and the chicks were good looking. Now, for that chick (stripes on the sleeve) that was in ops at the 8th, with the bad attitude. Wanted to jack her in the face... The things I heard her say to a Col and a Cmdr!
Sort of on topic- I assume all that ghey memorization crap is an AF thing? Pickle is really good at giving stuff a WAG, but memorization.... no way... he hardly remembers who I am or where he lives half the time! There wasn't memorization like that at Corpus, so I assume Primary at Whiting and Corpus requires WAY less memorization?
