USN to USMC transition in advanced helos

I start API next week and I am also interested in switching. Is that too early to think about that?

Also, would not knowing anything about how to be a Marine put me at a huge disadvantage at TBS? To me its very physically daunting as I've been on 3 humps my entire life and never have run the O-course.
