Does anyone know anything about the NROTC unit there? I cant find an NROTC web page for them so I was wondering if anyone knew thing about it.

probably because they don't have NROTC at UH, but you can participate in the ROTC unit at Rice.

So, you can be a student at UH, but will have to take Navy Science and all NROTC activities at Rice?

Yeah, it's not all that uncommon, especially at schools who are in a real city, and not a college town. I don't know exactly how it works, but for example, here in San Diego, University of San Diego and San Diego State guys are in the same ROTC unit.

really.. i live in Oside, so im really close to Cal State San Marcos. Are they w/ SDSU also, or by themselves?

Yes, according to Cal State San Marcos' website, Naval science courses are taken at SDSU. Check out the link, and scroll down to the ROTC info stuff. There's some contact info where you can get some details.
