Uniforms - What to do?

I have recently left the Navy. I have several uniforms that are looking for a good home (Flight suits, Dinner dress blues, etc.)
I'm hesitant to post them on ebay as I want to keep them out of the hands of the insurgents and I don't want to see some fool wearing them in a bar.

Any Suggestions?

Find a friend still in and sell them, its probably the best way to ensure they still get used as they were intended. There is always the surplus store option...those guys won't sell to any insurgent looking people.

you're supposed to give back those flight suits, so I wouldn't sell them on here.

Don't get caught selling or otherwise disposing of organizational clothing that was issued. As for the Mess Dress, I would keep them (at least the jacket) and convert it into a really cool looking "smoking jacket" that you can break out for parties and stuff. At least that's what I'm gonna do!

I think I'll box up the bags and send them to any SNA at the RAG or something.

I think the SDB's make a better smoking jacket than the Dinner Dress. I am still trying to find a use for those beloved wash khakis.

Actually Fatkid...Im in the market for an SDB jacket...(hopefully with 2 stripes on the sleeves)....My set of SDBs got left in the squadron spaces at Kadena 8 months ago while I was on det, and the rest of the squadron was airlifting back home to Whidbey, and nobody threw my garment bag on the plane. So, with each subsequent squadron occupying the same spaces, my garment bag has been "lost" and every attempt I've made to track down my Gucci (Abbotts) SDB jacket has been in vain. I'm actually PCSing to DC in March... I'm headed to ONI and I suspect I'll be wearing SDBs in DC more often than I wear my bag now...I'll be happy to take it off your hands. I'm a pretty big dude ...6'1/ 230...will it fit??

I might have one that fits, though I am only 5'9". PM if you want more info (I am in the DC area too).
