If you choose the same number twice in a row, notice that the symbol for your result changes, and that symbol appears in the crystal ball thingy. So basically, any number that could possibly result from that math equation has that set symbol in its place each time, and that's the symbol that appears. Just try the same number twice and you'll see what I mean.

Sorry to ruin the fun so fast, I'm bored and timing just worked out like that this time.

When you take any two digit number and add the digits together then subtract them from the original, you will get a multiple of 9. check all the multiples of 9 (except for 99, and 90)on the chart and you will notice that the symbols change everytime you try again,
