Yeah, since I mentioned Ft. Worth first, I'll mention a good restaurant there: Joe T. Garcia's. It's the best damn Mexican food. Gotta go, it's a great atmosphere, beautiful, well-priced, and just all-round good time. Try to arrive early, it's popular with the locals. But yeah, hit up Fort Worth, I had a blast there. I don't know what everyone else sees out their window, but living in New York there are alot of Mountains. Out there in TX you see forever. Go 20 minutes outside of Fort Worth and climb a hill or something and it's cool to see both Dallas and Forth Worth -- actually one of the best views is on top of the roller coaster at Six Flags in Arlington, where you can see both cities, I think the name of the coaster is the Giant Texan or something. Anyways, yeah, Fort Worth is a great area, clean, no crime, beautiful.
