Ok, I'm not the smartest guy, but this FTS info is super confusing. I am a YG03 P-3 Pilot.
None of the columns line up in the bottom table. Does YG 03 have 3 outs, 1 out, or unlimited?
The top table has an "X" in it for YG03, but a 0 for YG02. Does this mean YG 02 is not allowing anyone to transition to something like VR FTS? The bottom table says Unlimited out for YG 02. Seems contradictory.
I am looking at trying to transition on the FY15 Spring board. As a YG 03 guy should I expect unlimited out? And will I be able to transition into VR?
The chart has changed a bit, so that's probably the confusion. Page one of the chart used to list actual numbers of available billets for FTS redes. Page two would show the numbers of available "outs" that PERS would allow from the REGNAV (non-letter dropped) people.
Now page one seems to have entered the binary era. Are you YG03 and looking to get into aviation? Boom, we've got room for you! However, you still have to abide by page two, which shows that REGNAV won't want to release you unless you have a certain stink on you. Basically, both sides are realizing the times have changed and needed to update they're associated requirements/limitations.
