This is good info to hear. I'll be driving from the Lake Tahoe area to RI. I've always wanted to drive coast to coast, so i'll be driving to good ol' San Francisco, i'll spend a few days with friends, then i'll drive back home, and then i'll let the Navy pick up the rest of the tab to RI. Definitely not as convenient as flying, but these are the types of sacrifices you have to make when you're still young and stupid.
