I'm currently employed by the FAA.
I know that when I left active duty that it would count toward my retirement. But does it work the other way around when I go back into the military? In other words does my 6 years as a civilian federal employee get counted toward my military time?

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Then you realize, of course, that everyone in Aviation hates your guts.

Nothing personal, you understand ... I'm sure you're a nice guy. The hate is just a required, genetic, inbred part of flying within the airspace that an overarching, sluggish, incompetent, peevish, petty bureacracy sometimes occupies.

Blue skies ....:)

I'm used to people hating me or rather the FAA, in fact I hate the FAA just as much if not more, that is why I'm attempting to return to the millitary. People will hate me just as much but at least I can feal a little better about where I'm at. :D

So what you're saying is, if I wasn't a SWO, I'd feel right at home in the FAA?

Yeah, it looks the gay pride symbol. Maybe you should change your avatar back to the snarling dog while you look for the SOB who did it unless you don't mind having the homo bear under you're name
