Well i found out about my situation with the National Guard and trying to transfer into the PLC program. read this link if your confused about what im talking about http://www.airwarriors.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14261
Anyways, There is a DD form called a 368 that I have to fill out and get approved by my chain of command (up to a one star) so I can leave the National Guard, this form is also used for all the services from what I was told. Also it is not a definite transfer, I have to be accepted first before I can transfer, basically it is just a temporary status until I get selected...the day I swear in with the Marines, is the day I leave the National Guard. If that doesn't happen I'm still with the National Guard. Just thought I'd fill you guys in for future reference. Now just gotta check out the waivers for my knee and jaw...do the waivers need to be approved before I am accepted for a flight contract? or after the PLC increments?
