The Second Greatest Navy in the World

Could be a well-calculated psy-op from the CCP to have us underestimate 'em. LOL.

Jokes aside, the scary part about China (the CCP) is that every big project is based on a long-term agenda driven by the state.
If I understood correctly, China is producing ships like crazy while we're starting to reach out to allies in Asia (Japan / South Korea) for ramping up ship-building.

I'm no SWO. But... like... isn't that stupidly close for two boats ships from the same team to be together when not tied to a pier?

Normally yes.

But when playing bumper boats on the high seas, it’s devolving to Age of Sail, or even trireme era operations, and normal spacing goes out the window.

I’d be curious how much of this was driven by poor C2 between their services. Ultimately poor ship driving, but wonder if it contributed to their poor positioning.

Also interesting that their DDG basically ate the CG cutter for breakfast. Was hoping for more damage to their Navy ship.

I think that was just luck. The angle of impact favored the destroyer and it had more/better maneuvering space. Once hit, the cutter was just along for the ride.
