^ it would appear that the VAQ bubbas are low in the case I stack? The four airwings i've flown with have always had truckster at 4k.

During the 2002 CVW-14work-ups & deployment, our Prowlers and Tomcats were at the bottom of the stack. This was driven by the maintenance turnaround times.

CAG 17 has them at 2K. Perks of a Prowler CAG, possibly. IMO, the Maint time argument is a specious one, but we can save that for another time.

agreed. we often forget how old most of the Charlies are on the flight deck. on my last two cruises they have hurt worse than anyone... of course when you miss a launch due to poor communication or poorer troubleshooting all the MMCPO and MO say is "if we were down first...." ;)
