AE 606, are these from the Burnet airshow over the weekend that I failed to attend?
Yes they are, it was a good show. Sorry you missed it.
The large aircraft in the last picture is a PB4Y Privateer...it was a recon-bomber. It took over for the B-24 Liberator, which was the sole heavy bomber for conducting maritime patrol bombing. These Liberators were designated PB4Y-1's and the newer aircraft became the -2.

Thanks for the enlightenment! Didn't recognize it right away. They have one in the resto-hanger behind the Naval Museum... which may or may not be on it's way inside the actual museum. I wonder if the paticular one in that picture was part of the Blue's early performances... like a early Navy version of "Fat Albert." Searched, but no joy yet.

VMAT-203 just posted some pictures from the most recent Yuma Weapons "Broken Resolution" Det on our website. I'd post them here, but I'm not sure about copyright stuff. There are some pretty cool pics of both T (two-seat) and B (single-seat) -Bird Harriers. Most of the pictures are taken by random people in the squadron. Mods, if it's ok to post them here, please PM me and I will find more on our shared drive collection. I'll be on the next det in July-August, and hopefully I'll come back with my own shots for your viewing pleasure.

Very cool, I saw those mitchells flying overhead when i was home in north west indiana on leave.
