dunno what he's smoking but (i think) that's a b-17 and it never ceased to amaze me that the cockpit is just about the same size as that of a c-172.

just amazing and sad... my dad, a ww2 vet and most of his generation had no idea. i think it was the mid '60's when the first warnings started showing up.

I don't know about MREs but C Rations had a pack of 5 cigs in each meal. In trade they were worth a can of pound cake and a can of peaches almost everytime.......

We would get the Green Pack Luckies in our C-rats in the early 60s. :eek:

I was born in '43, & we called cigs "Cancer Sticks" when I was a kid. Jus' sayin' . . .
