CTOC as a term was pushed by the Administration, to incorporate not only CD but also other types of criminal activities. I've been seeing it since 2009.

Well, being the last time I did anything with it was 06, and it was called CNT then... But we all still called it CD OPS.

No, I'm with you. Just funny how the names change, but not everyone gets the memo. Zab's post is a perfect example. I've done multiple briefs with JIATF-S at their place, have done countless training exercises with TACLET, and several deployments since 2009, and that term wasn't en vogue. No doubt it was there, but we were still told to use CNT.

As long as the funding kept coming...
