The end of NATO?

If it makes you feel better, the DNI (who has OCA) shamed them, while also confirming the story and therefore declassifying it.

In a statement, Gabbard said: “The Wall Street Journal should be ashamed of aiding deep state actors who seek to undermine the President by politicizing and leaking classified information. They are breaking the law and undermining our nation’s security and democracy.”

@jus2mch, what do you think of our country actively prepping to subvert one of our NATO allies who spilled blood in Afghanistan fighting beside us?

Not a schtick, guess I am that dumb. I read the Taxi post which referenced a collection emphasis with specifics, and stated it was a classified report. I don’t have access to WSJ. Figure I would try to look out for those who might look at AW on a NIPR computer and save them the headache from inadvertently opening up classified info. Unfortunately, that happened to quite a few people I knew some years back when certain NGA reports were leaked.

@Taxi I think our allies should be our allies, and an enemy of my enemy is my friend. I don’t mind keeping both close, but opinions and policies change just like political parties in charge. The US attempting to change the political landscape of another country for our benefit isn't something new.

I also don’t see in your post where it says she declassified any information, just that she condemned the media for posting a classified report.

There’s a difference between going on Wikileaks and looking at a document that has not been declassified and a news article, which is a secondary source. There’s also a difference in acknowledging info. I doubt anyone here has seen the original docs, and if they have, I doubt they’re commenting on this thread. If the docs are classified I agree with Gabbard that it’s fucked up if anyone was talking about them.

Next time you do your DoD Cyber Awareness training, pay closer attention to the module that shows you how to look at URLs and use reason, context, deduction, and some common sense. Or just keep doing cannonballs into the deep end.

Well, I’ve never submitted an unclassified collection emphasis message, but maybe the games changed since I’ve been gone. 🤷‍♂️

No more Cyber Awareness for me my friend. I also prefer the float with a beer at the deep end lol.

Also who knows how the doc was portion marked. They could be quoting from an unclassified paragraph for all we know.

The article title could have been “DNI Confirms USA is attempting to Subvert Our NATO Ally”

Fair enough on your security concerns. I am literally CC’d on some Wikileaks’d emails from when I was on deployment in 2009/2010 and I can neither confirm nor deny, which is what the DNI should have said, instead of saying “it’s all true”. But you hire clowns, you get a circus.
