I thought about buying a wood-stocked Saiga shotgun from those guys before the TV show hit. I checked the other day, and it seems like they're adjusting their prices to keep up with the fame.
yeah check out Tromix, their prices are pretty high as well. The only reason I'd say stay away from Red Jacket is because they don't seem to have time for customer service. Back when they were mom and pop class 3 they did really well by their customers, probably still do, but for average guy they don't seem to want to waste time explaining or spending time.
The saving grace if you would like a Saiga and it doesn't have to be tricked out is that a law was just passed that is going to prevent the ATF from banning that shotgun from being imported. They were going after it specifically (very unconsitiutional to pick an individul firearm) but the NRA got the satus quo maintained. What happened was about a 1.5 ago they started trying to get that ban implemented and dealers specifically stocked up on them and doubled the price. Now they are coming back down. I've seen guys on gun broker and guns america saying exactly that. "bought these to sell at a premium before the ban but having to unload them now as the prices are coming back down" keep your eyes peeled and if you can snag a used one do that. If you want to support a mom and pop (kind of) guy check out Classic Arms.com. Good service and they run a deal every now and then on their pistol grip saigas. Also, to save 100 bucks if you can get the parts to convert to pistol grip and do that install yourself, check out You Tube for instructions to see if you would want to bite that project off.
