Are there any NFOs/SNFOs/NAs/SNAs in this forum who got TAD before their TBS date. I'm in the SD area and hope to get commissioned in January, but my hopeful TBS date will be April 17th (charlie company). I am wondering if anyone has suggestions as to how to come up on finding TAD hopefully at Miramar, but Pendleton and MCRD would be cool too. I am not prior enlisted so I'll just be a boot lieutenant hoping to be a general's aid or something. My understanding is that any TAD pay comes for a unit's fiscal budget, so will it help to start looking in January when they just get their new budgets?
