Thread resurrection.

Used bowling pins make pretty good targets too. The local bowling alley gave me 20 yesterday. :)
 
As a veteran--maybe victim is more appropriate--of several bowling pin matches, I will go on record as saying that those things are fucking evil. You wouldn't think that knocking over a bowling pin with a .45 round would be that difficult, but holy crap is it ever. Lately, though, I seem to find myself lured over to the steel side of the local range.

Bowling pin matches are the reason that lead flatpoint and lead semi-wadcutters are cast. That square nose bites a hell of a lot better than what round noses you likely had to suffer through. :)
