I haven't seen this posted yet, but pretty significant news came out last month about Transitional Assistance Management Program (TAMP, or 180 days of Tricare post orders) eligibility for reservists mobilized or on ADOS/recall. Essentially, TAMP is now available for all reservists coming off of 30+ days of orders regardless of type (e.g. “serving in contingency operation” or not) and reimbursable for members that were denied TAMP on or after 24 APR 2020.

Per the ROA link, you should be able to submit all out of pocket expenses for healthcare that TAMP would have covered for the 180 days after your orders end date (premiums, co-pays, prescriptions, etc) for yourself and your family members. They also state that “voluntary orders count” and “members who volunteered for active duty under Section 12301(d) are expressly included," which ADOS orders are commonly coded as. They're working to get the APR 2020 date pushed further back so more folks can seek reimbursement, but as they explain in the webinar this was something tied to the date the lawsuit was filed and how it could only go back five years. Going forward, TAMP should automatically be enabled in DEERS for anyone coming off 30+ days of orders so you won't have to submit a reimbursement. Hope this can help some others on this board!
