Saw the flight test plane (we are the FAA and we are here to help) land and then sit on the ground checkpoint, taxi out and leave. Hopefully it will pass, I had to pull a GPS approach out of my @ss today after not doing one for 4 months, vectors to the TACAN is so much easier.

Is that what that thing was. I saw a weird (ie, not orange and white) painted Beach fly over while looking up at the crap that was today's weather.

I recently deleted it, but as I remember, I got all the stuff for the T-34 from Whiting for FS and the tacan stuff worked just fine.

I found a formula on the web (Xplane forum) to find the paired freq for a TACAN.

if the VOR freq is above 112.25 then: (VOR - 105.3)X10=TACAN

if VOR is less or = to 112.25 then: (VOR - 106.3)X10= TACAN

Just throw that into the VOR and the bearing/dme should work.
