T-34's in New Orleans on Sunday (Mardi Gras)

So who were the 2 T-34's I saw buzz down the river yesterday (Sunday)? I just happened to notice as my friends and I were walking towards the casino.

Pretty cool, low flying, nice angle of banks. I would have made another pass in parade formation personally.

BZ for upstaging the floats for those that noticed. haha

It's actually a normal VFR departure from New Orleans Lakefront that keeps everyone out of International's airspace (for the most part). We did it on the way home from my cross country for a VNAV leg and it was definitely a lot of fun. Good pulls through some of the river bends since you are supposed to stay over the water. Lot's of birds down that low I must say....

Had a feeling the whole time we were doing it like "wow....this is actually legal" :)
