YEEEHAAWWW . . . wait . . . no I really didn't.

Ah, well. T-45 sims don't even HAVE motion, good or bad. It's like playing a video game (except for the whole getting graded part that is).

Ask me about ninjas!
Can't speak for the TH-57 sim (yet), but I've messed around w/ both the cobra and huey sims at Pendleton. Peter Griffin said it best: "FREAKIN' SWEET!" No, seriously.

What? You don't like orange and white? Come one man.

No I like Orange and White, but Ive seen both side by side at an airshow and with my girlfriend no less and her comment was "why does the Navy trainer look so much fatter then the Airforce trainer" I really didnt have an answer on that one.

well, the t-34 ain't the sexiest airplane around...but there's something to be said for beta and tires that don't pop after 20 landings...but just think how nice that t-6 would look if it had a proper orange and white scheme.

:icon_what Or more properly, how the T-34 would look if you got RID of that paint scheme . . .

Actually, the TH-57 sims are leaps and bounds above the T-34 sims. Still not completely accurate, but pretty close. The SH-60F sims are even better than the 57 ones.

I've seen that one... I've also seen one that VMFAT-101 flys.
But my question is, why dose the RAG fly them? Someone told me it was used as FAC(A) for A-G syllabus.
Anyone know for sure?

I believe you're on the right track. I've heard that they are used to clear the range of other aircraft before and during Air to Ground exercises. I'm sure it's somewhere along those lines. The point is they are support aircraft for the FITWING.

I did a mid cruise w/ VF-101, and got a ride in one of their T-34s. I was told that they are used as a FAC(A) because they're cheaper than using another F-14.
