I've met some of the instructors here, including an old pal from my time in Corpus. I envy that flying. Maybe I could ask my boss to allow me to fly with them. Fingers crossed?!
Yep. I'm 99.99% certain TW-5 didn't send any T-6s to CORTRAMID. The seat qual is probably what makes it prohibitive.I bet it's too much of a pain in the ass to get all the kids seat qual'd.

When I was in ROTC, the only MIDS that got qual'd were the ones going on an aviation summer cruise. Qualifying the entire east coast CORTRAMID would be tough. Plus, you can't put them in the front seat because they don't know how to turn the damn thing on and the guy in the back is responsible for the ejection seats.
IP would still sit in front, you would just keep the ISS Mode Selector in Front Command Eject so if the kid pulls, both don't end up leaving the aircraft.Plus, you can't put them in the front seat because they don't know how to turn the damn thing on and the guy in the back is responsible for the ejection seats.
