Looking for some info. from anyone out there.
I recently accepted my pilot slot and have since gone under the knife. I had minor shoulder surgery and ended up with a couple of small screws in the left wing. My OCS date is about a year away and I need to track down the elusive waiver. I have no idea what this process consists of and am looking for some tips on how to better my chances of getting one, if possible. Does it help that I have sworn in? Should I get letters of reccomendation from the doc or Naval officers? Is this luck of the draw or can I do something about it? I am at a loss here and the recruiter made it sound fairly glum. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
