Must have been a good CMC to actually answer the phone and come get him.

Is anyone else wondering if OS3's wife was hot? or am I just fucked up from all that time at sea as a nuke?
Hot or easy...is there a difference when coke is involved?

Tom Hanks is one of my favorite actors, and I love war movies, but the CGI turns me off. Kinda feel the same as I did about Midway. I’ll probably give it a shot either way

She was a stripper in Jacksonville, FL, for a time (might still be) so you be the judge.

That puts the scenario you described in a whole new light, I mean strippers and cocaine right?
Once upon a time in my first fleet squadron, a young lad fell in love with a young lady, who was probably just putting herself through college (by working at an establishment just outside the base front gate on Mayport Road) one lonely Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately he popped for coke on the command sweep on Monday morning...

The End.

I simply don't understand the troglodidian dismissal of centers of culture like the "Mayport Center for the Performing Arts," (just outside the base front gate on Mayport Road).

Cue the scene from Independence Day:
Wife of Naval Aviator: “I’m a dancer.”
FLOTUS (!): “Ahhh, I love ballet.”
Wife of Naval Aviator: “Um... no, actually, exotic.”
FLOTUS (!): “Oh. I’m sorry.”

Ah yes, Thee Officers Club (Link goes to Google Maps). Absolutely only the best Jacksonville has to offer and the weekend destination for nearly all of the young and dumb Sailors living in the barracks at NAVSTA Mayport. I keep telling myself that the next time I'm in Mayport, I'll drop in for a beer just for shits and giggles.

By all means, drop by...have a beer, just don't marry one of the "artists."

During my 1985 deployment to Misawa Japan there was a sex show right outside the base gate. Highest bidder each night got to screw the “star” on stage in front of everyone. I had a young YNSN who fell in love with the “star”, went broke making sure he was the highest bidder every night so no one else could screw “his girl”, went about $20k dollars in debt (on an E-3 paycheck in 1985...), married her and took her back to Moffett, watched her disappear 1 week after getting her to Moffett with her green card. It was ugly....and so was she...

I had a department head that on his DIVO tour on a Cruiser (way before I knew him or was in the USN) got drunk in Olongapo and screwed a "dancer" on the stage in front of everyone including his division, years later he is now a DH on a CVN and some of the guys from his old ship are now PO1's and CPO's. I am not surprised actually given the more I knew about him.
