Honestly for OCS I think your at a disadvantage being a prior. They want priors to do STA-21, LDO, AND Warrant programs.
Most people I’ve seen with lower gpa and oar that were prior get selected over those that weren’t. So who knows really

Yes a “Y” means Pro Rec. does not mean you have been selected. Just means board recommend you. There are still a few steps before selection, medically cleared, and a final vote from OCS.

not really, STA-21 is mainly an avenue to get nuke officers now, the LDO and Warrant programs are for those that desire to stay in their field.
