OCS SWO Board 10 Feb 20

From the look of it, if you're active duty and didn't get word from your chain of command today, it most likely means you didn't get selected. Right now I am hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

Considering your degree, your OAR score and GPA, I wouldn’t be surprised if they passed on you with the thought that you’ll be picked up for IP here in April since that was your first choice. Still probably isn’t a good feeling, sorry man.

Idk much on how military boards select but that’s what they do in college. If you’re an absolute academic stud and apply to Ivy leagues and also apply to your average state college, the state college will deny you acceptance despite being way over qualified because they know you’re only applying as a safety school so granting that person admission is taking it away from someone else who can’t get in anywhere better
