It is truly amazing eh. The weather report said that it has not snowed this much since 1897! I never thought I would see Padre Island and the beach w/ snow.

I am at home on Christmas leave in a little town between Corpus and Houston. We had 13 inches of snow on the ground this morning. My dad is 60 and has lived here most of his life. This is twice the ammount of snow he has ever seen on the ground at one time and the first white Christmas he knows of.

Pretty cool.

NO WAY! GOD DAMNIT! It isn't snowing in Washington, the ski areas are either not open or the coverage sucks, and CORPUS GETS SNOW?! There is NO justice!

I'm in chicago now and only a light dusting of snow this week, with temps of less than 7 deg F.
