Sounds like he should apply to the Secret Service..Back when Nittany and I where mere SNAs at VT-3 we had an IP get busted for attempting to solicit sex from what he thought was a minor (actually undercover escambia county cop).

I thought that happened when I was in API around summer '98 timeframe. Male IP was busted at the mall by either Pcola PD or Escambia county sheriff for trying to pick up a 14 year old boy. Embarrasing.Back when Nittany and I where mere SNAs at VT-3 we had an IP get busted for attempting to solicit sex from what he thought was a minor (actually undercover escambia county cop).
Speaking of nose candy and other amazing things,
I remember a fleet pilot, from a sister squadron, popping positive for coke on a urinalysis... the squadron sent him TAD to the wing, figuring that although the investigation would take only a short time it would still be better to get him out of the squadron for the meantime. Well in the meantime, he popped again(!). Pretty sure he got orders to Leavenworth after that (the short-fused PCS type, not the ones to the war college there).
Another pilot, from another sister squadron, used the Navy's computers to download porn, even after being told to stop it. I suspect it wasn't ordinary porn, because he too ended up with special orders to the brig. It's always fun to look up people like these on the bubba list.
Yet another pilot, from yet another sister squadron, got busted by the local sheriff's cybercrime task force... it seems that the teenage boy, with whom he was arranging a liaison, turned out to be a cop.
I'm not sure I can pick a clear winner out of these three. Each is disturbing in its own way. When the career brief says that O2-O3 promotion is 99.9% with an asterisk, sometimes guys like these are that asterisk. Crime and punishment... all kinds of people make both good and bad choices throughout life, but the outliers make some truly horrible choices.
So these are all HSL pilots then? Dirty.

I remember that. Possibly the most awkward AOM ever. That, and I still remember the ball-busting the guy's on-wings got at their tie cuttings.Back when Nittany and I where mere SNAs at VT-3 we had an IP get busted for attempting to solicit sex from what he thought was a minor (actually undercover escambia county cop).
Yep, that'd be the one.If this was in late 2004 then that's the one. I say BZ ECSO.
Had a roommate during API/Primary at Pcola/Whiting that my other roommate vouched for to take his room as he left for Meridian. Guy attrites from VT-6 for performance, and gets stashed at MATSG. Meanwhile random things start to go missing in the house (did I mention this guy had a pizza face?). I hide all my valuables away and, sure enough, notice a week or two later that my USNA ring is missing. Track it down to a local pawn shop where he told them "It was my brother's who just died" - Get it back, search his room for anything else that might be stolen and find illegal prescription drugs he bought across the mexican border while on leave. Turns out he sold numerous stolen cameras and random stolen goods all the the same pawn shop to buy drugs.....I got NCIS on that one pretty quick and he's in the Brig currently. Had track marks on him as well and no wonder he was all pizza faced and itchy all the time.
-Said SNA also did 60 down a residential road parallel to a road I was on just to beat me to our driveway to park....only to back into his friends' car WHO WAS RIDING SHOTGUN with him.
-His priceless comment to another roommate's wife "Yea I've gotten two girls pregnant but I got both of them to take care of it"
Where do we find such men?
Or the Marines....don't know how that guy made it through TBS. He WAS on drugs while flying in VT-6 btw..scary (just a lil)Note to self: don't ever ask a jet guy for a character reference...
Or the guy who shot himself in the hand while driving a car in a busy intersection after leaving hooters. My personal favorite was the dude who shot his finger off in the TBS parking lot.
