Stupid questions about the Rhino (Super Hornet)

Long as they put the shitter back in the AEC, I'm cool with it.

I'd rather it not be a "planned" thing for my own greedy purposes (more traps) and I do wonder how it would affect currency and guys getting enough experience as it is.

Since I'm a HummerNoob, I'll let the more experience guys weigh in on whether us losing 1/3 to 1/2 our trap count would cause that much concern.

But, if we do get it, I'd like to have a shitter in the AEC. I can hold it for a double cycle fine, but if we start doing 10-12 hour missions, eventually the law of averages and boat food will catch up and I will have to shit in flight in the Hummer. I did it once in the 60B and it was a process I'd rather NEVER have to repeat.

Granted it's easier to get out of the seat in the E-2, but still, trying to squat and shit into a bag in a plane sucks.

An unfortunate Hummer O5 had to "use" the flight bag on a OIF flight. I think the whole airwing knew before he could toss it overboard. Although an unfortunate incident, I woulda paid money to see the look on the faces of the other guys in the back.

I've always wanted to fly something fast and fixed-wing. However, now...I'll fly a Ford Pinto with wings, if it means I can class up faster.

Keep an open mind...bust your ass and you'll love whatever you get.

Ask and Ye shall receive....:D

B.O. is one thing and that is "consistent". Watch what he DOES- not what he says.

I read an article on this subject/PR stunt today and I chuckled a bit. BioFuel from animal fat. OK, I live in an ag area and the environmentalists are up in arms over the animal waste seeping into the ground from dairy farms. You know- contaminating the ground water and making for expensive soil replacement when the dairies move out. Where is he going to get his massive volume of animal fat from? Post lipo lard donations courtesy of healthcare reform? Maybe.

Coastal oil drilling? As our Governor once said, "You make me lawf". April fools on you Mr. President.

Rant off.

Actually, during my Topeka search, I found out he's a super hero. And a mutual friend of ours wants to play Kato.

Let's cut the guy a break. This Green Hornet thing has been SECNAV's baby since he took office. So while I agree that the whole thing is a publicity stunt (I.E. we're never going to have significant quantities of biofuel in the Navy's operational fuel supply system), there's very little in politics that isn't, so let's not act as though this is some new phenomenon we should blame on democrats.

So let's review: The President wants to build a new generation of nuke power plants and drill for oil off our shores. Not exactly the calling cards of the hard left extremist you make him out to be.

The BIG question is "what does biofuel smell like when you man up @ 0600 so hung-over you're afraid you're gonna puke at any moment?" JP-5 at that moment was particularly nauseous, so one can only hope biofuel is easier on the stomach & brain.
