sTUPID qUESTIONS aBOUT ocs

Question about the prt cycle as a prior. Been having some issues with my pha being green lit (I mentioned I wanted to get checked for skin cancer but changed my mind due to time restrictions so they won’t green light it til I get a telehealth appt) and not sure if I will be able to complete my fall cycle prt prior to checking in during October. Will ocs ever administer a prt to get everyone current? Been kinda stressing me out lately. I’m in good health but I check out at the of the month from my command.

Like an annual check up or you have a spot of concern?
Bc if you have a spot of concern, don’t delay care lol.

OCS you’ll do plenty of PRTs, but I believe only the last one counts.

Unless something has changed in Pensacola’s check in, they’ll have you do a PRT shortly after check in that re-bases for the cycle post OCS.

You do one during every phase at OCS but I believe the last one before you graduate is the one that goes on record. Not sure how it works for you leaving your command, might be a question for your CFL or for any other priors in here

Wouldn’t worry about this too much. Bring it up at OCS and you can prob do your third and final PRT before the end of the cycle. I went to OCS without a current PRT and just did one there for the current cycle.

Extra note cards (200 should be enough), bath towel, flashlight/head lamp, lint roller with long handle and enough sheets to share, steamer (bought one there), blankets (brought one, bought a second one while there), 5 pairs of high quality black socks (covert threads > fox river > darn tough), and maybe an empty suitcase to help carry everything you're issued back home. Buy some extra PT gear so you can have some folded for inspections and don't need to do laundry every 2 days.
