sTUPID qUESTIONS aBOUT ocs

I have auto select scores and I know you can’t be auto select if you have waivers. Currently I have no waivers, but I’m curious if the tattoo screening is a waiver and if it would stop my auto select, just something dumb I’ve been worrying about.

No. Waivers in this case are program specific like age, GPA, legal, etc. and not medical/tattoo waivers.

Hello, I submitted an application for designators in the IWC during the September window. There is a new application window in December and I am wondering what are some things you need to update between packages? I don't know results yet but I want to get ready just in case.
I'm being told Personal Statement is a big one. I have 5 interviews and 1 LoR from multiple designators and scored a 54 on the OAR.
Are the Community Managers open about what you need/missed on?

Are you working with a recruiter? Assuming so, they would be the best point of contact to provide feedback. Regardless, community managers very likely won’t be able to or willing to provide individual feedback and instead refer to the program authorization.

With the title of this thread kept in mind, I dare ask the following:

I don't trust my recruiter. He's been shady and flaky and flip-flopping what he says. He says my waiver was approved, and my package is officially past the processors and submitted for the upcoming supply and SWO boards. My question is does anyone know if I can somehow confirm this? I have no prior service.

Thanks

Maybe the truth or facts simply change and it’s not the fault of the recruiter?

He or she can send you a screenshot of your applicant profile confirming you’re at board and what you’re applying for.

How does pay work at OCS for prior enlisted? Do we keep our current time in grade/rank pay? Or is everyone set to E5? And what about BAH if we have a lease for family?

Have any SNAs or SNFOs went through the ISEL process recently? I'm waiting to get some clearance from MEPS and then submitting my ISEL package for NFO. Trying to get a gauge on how long that timeline would be, thanks in advance!

Took 3-4 weeks after getting cleared through MEPS and submitting my package. This was in March, so pretty recently.

I did not work with a recruiter. I am on an isolated billet and besides a few emails to the OCM I've worked with some local officers.
Where/How would you recommend getting feedback if I wasn't selected?

That's the unfortunate thing with active duty fleet applicants is often times you are alone and unafraid. Your best bet is to browse the various IWC board forums here and pin point stats for those who have been selected. Very doubtful an OCM isn't going to provide individual feedback, this is similar to various enlisted boards, etc. throughout the Navy.
