How in depth is it compared to the medical in Pensacola
The physical in Newport is more in depth than the one in Pensacola. They're basically screening you to see if you can make it down to Pensacola without any issues. Some people were DQ'd for eye injury surgeries, slow reaction times, chronic illness, and things of that nature.

Thanks. The medical stuff is what worries me the most. I had like 6 medical waivers when I went to meps.

For anyone that’s gone to OCS for Aviation (Pilot or NFO) what’s the physical like for when you get there? My recruiter told me that there would be a separate physical for those who were going to be in aviation. Thank you
Check my page. I’ve got a long post from a couple years back where I detailed the process in Newport

Hi! I have a quick question. I’m planning to apply for both Supply and NFO, but I wanted to clarify something about waivers. If I receive a non-medical waiver for Supply (specifically for the math class requirement), would that same waiver be visible to or considered by the NFO board? I’m asking because the NFO program authorization PDF states that non-medical waivers aren’t permitted, and I want to be sure how that might affect my application.

Is math class required for an NFO application?
