I have heard that we a have a few C130s that can take off and land on an area about the size of a football field... more for special ops. I also saw a pic of the "Fat Boy" I think is what the Blue Angles call their C130 with rocket boosters.

It's wierd seeing something that big on there. I saw the pic (or a similar one) before but I didn't think it was real. The Blue Angel 130 with the JATO is called "Fat Albert".

I think somebody on this forum or on another has a video clip of the first C-130 that landed on the carrier.

I am sure if you punch in "C-130 carrier landing" on google, you should be able to get some info.

Actually there was a JAG episode based on the landing of a C-130 on the deck of a carrier... I thought it was full of **** until after the show it gave all the details about it really happening
