Sticker Update!!!

I know it's a long time coming, but here's a quick update:

I got sideswiped by an 18 year old the morning of my bachelor party, after finding out that my best man's uncle passed away and wouldn't be able to attend. Was late to my own bachelor party because of it, and almost got rained out of the golf we had planned. Our hotel room developed a leaking ceiling from the A/C of the room above. Had to buy a new Hookah for the reception, because we forgot the other one at home (and didn't realize until we were in North Carolina). But in the end, the weather turned out perfect for the wedding and we're back home now, soooo...

The money is in place, and I will be ordering 500 4"x6" stickers this week and hope to have them by next week. By the end of the weekend, I'll have a cafepress store set up (once I get the 300 dpi file from the sticker makers) for everything else, and will be taking/fulfilling orders as soon as I get the stickers. I know it took longer than I thought, but the wedding kept me a bit busy.

Oh, and in case anyone asks - don't know when the honeymoon is. I only had enough vacation time built up for the wedding...

Yup - I did indeed quit smoking the cancer sticks, just not the cigars/hookah. Truth be told, PSW and I smoke both mostly for the social aspect. We now have a total of 4 hookahs, and generally only break them out for parties, football games, and yep - our reception. We had strawberry & peach tobacco and it was a wild hit! No fogging though, because it had to be outside (SC law)...

The JAG from her command (a good friend of ours) refused to try, I think she may have thought that it was "whacky tobaccy"...

EDIT - Be advised that the store is a beta... I wouldn't buy the mousepad or the journal if I was you, because I'm going to resize the logo a smidge tonight when I get home to make it fit those items better.

That's really up to the webmaster. Outside of checks from Cafepress that get deposited, and money that I'm going to pay out to front money people/order more stickers - it's just going to sit in the paypal account for whatever John wants to do with it.

My BBQ apron is now ordered. Don't think it'll come in time for this weekend's tailgater, but here's hoping!

Ummm, where are the stickers in the Air Warriors store? I just wanted to buy a sticker for the "mom-mobile". (since I'm a 'lurker' on the site, I check in here twice a day). I have two sons, one is a charlie driver, the other is learning to fly something with a pointy nose in Meridian. I come here to read all of your wacky posts. It's like a train wreck... every day, I have to look. On occassion I have posted something that made even MasterBates spit beer out of his nose. I have a sense of humor about Navy life. My husband was a SWO, 28 years ago and I survived life as a Navy wife under the Carter administration. Anyway, I like the site because I get answers to questions and I don't have to annoy my sons with 10,000 stupid questions every week. I KNOW HOW TO USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!!!

Oh, and I am that mother with a double blue-star magnet, a Fly Navy license plate cover, an "I love jet noise" and a squadron sticker on the back of the SUV. The boys always offer to drive their own car when we visit. I wonder why...
